The Greensboro Community Bike Shop is an organization of volunteers, and these are the people that make it happen. I argue we have one of the most evolved boards ever in Greensboro.

Our Board

Chair of the Board

Micheal Amend

The man who can do anything. The busiest man in Greensboro without a job. He's going to teach you how to fix your bike whether you want to or not. He's made an enormous impact on the biking community and the bike shop.

Vice Chair of the Board

Treva Witmoyer

One of the kindest people on a bicycle, from her rides for MS to being a lead at the bike library she can do anything but fix a bike.

Treasurer

Don Henza

The mastermind behind our finances, who's also great at fixing stuff. Fun fact: No one has ever seen him without one of his dogs pictured above: Jesse and Bella.

Secretary

Fawzia Moussouni

Friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. In addition to be a board member Fawzia always keeps everybody fed with her amazing cooking

Board member

Cris Shamp

Cris can teach anyone how to do anything, at least his way of doing it. Cris has probably ridden a bike in more states than most of us have driven. One of the friendliest people you've ever met and always willing to help.

Board member

Vanessa Fox

The creative force behind our social media and an aspiring bike mechanic. Vanessa is the newest member to our board introduced us to a new type of marketing.

Board member

William Pearson

One of the geniuses behind our giant array of parts. He can enter a bike into the system faster than anybody else. William is involved in our transit advocacy, and we are lucky to have him on our board.
